Jan coaches both new shooters and experienced shooters who want to improve. His approach is simple, and it starts with the most basic skill of all: clearly seeing the target. Many shooters overlook this, but every good shot depends on it.
From there, he builds sound fundamentals and works on the specific habits holding each shooter back.
His coaching focuses on:
- Seeing the target clearly and focusing on it
- Reading the target’s line, speed and break point
- Stance, gun mount and a consistent set-up
- Smooth, unhurried gun movement
