Coaching Philosophy “The greatest thing about tomorrow is I will be better than I am today.” -Tiger Woods My approach to coaching is divided into two distinct methodologies, designed to meet you exactly where you are in your competitive journey. For Amateurs & Beginners: Success in this sport relies on how you start. For newer shooters, my focus is on setting the correct mechanical foundation. We build you from the ground up—establishing a flawless gun mount, precise footwork, and the core visual fundamentals needed to break clays consistently. My goal is to build your technique correctly the first time, ensuring you never have to waste seasons unlearning bad habits as you progress. For Advanced & Elite Competitors: At the highest levels of Compak, FITASC and Sporting Clays, everyone has solid mechanics; the difference between a podium finish and the middle of the pack comes down to the margins. For high-level shooters, my coaching shifts heavily into performance tracking. I approach your game with an analytical mindset, to find the gaps and tackle the problems. Whether it’s a small fix or a long-term coaching relationship, I am dedicated to giving clients my absolute best.

What shooters say

  • “I recently had a shooting lesson with Anderson White, and it was an outstanding experience. Anderson brings a rare combination of international competitive experience, technical knowledge, and genuine coaching ability. From the first few minutes, it was clear that he does not simply give generic advice — he carefully watches, analyses, and identifies exactly where improvement is needed. What impressed me most was how clearly he explained each adjustment. He helped me understand not only what to change, but why it matters. His coaching style is calm, professional, and highly practical, which made the lesson both enjoyable and incredibly valuable. I learnt so much in a short space of time. Anderson’s attention to detail, his understanding of gun mount, footwork, visual focus, and target reading, and his ability to communicate it all in a simple way made a real difference to my shooting. Whether you are a beginner wanting to build the right foundation, or a more experienced shooter looking to improve the finer details of your performance, I can highly recommend Anderson White as a coach. His passion for the sport and commitment to helping shooters improve is clear in everything he does.”
